| This is the crowd around the Koigu discount booth. I fought my way into the back but couldn't find any amounts of yarn that seemed to match. So I gave up. Last year, I bought 20 skeins (small skeins) here. |
| This is the farthest point from the entrance to the fairgrounds and this picture was taken just as they announced the official opening of the festival. You can see how crowded it already is. We met droves of people coming in as we were leaving at 10:30 or so. |
| The Mannings booth. Look at all the lovely yarn. I looked for Joan Hammer here but she hadn't yet put in an appearance. |
| Here I am looking at a very pretty sparkly yarn. I was tempted, but when she told me that the sweater she was wearing was made from it, I decided not. |
| Not yet 9:30 and people were starting to line up for food. See what a beautiful day! |
| This is the place where I found Socks that Rock at The Fold. Spent quite a bit of time in here. |
| And this is how it all begins. See the sheep? See the little girl? what do you want to bet that in 10 or 12 years, she will be a knitter? |
| OK, this is a lousy picture but we wanted to show the looooooong line of people waiting to get t-shirts with this year's logo on them. Still before 10:00. We guessed that there's about 150 in line. You can now order them online at the official website http://www.sheepandwool.org/ |
| Still can't see the line, but take my word for it, it was long! We were on our way out at this point. Still a long walk to the car. I'm a bit sore today, since I don't usually walk this far at once. |
